The Creators of the Latinometer
Stan Goston (Regis University) is a software engineer who implemented the
Latinometer for the web. He currently is a Reservist in the Air Force and a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin.
Avi Swartz, a Colorado Mathlete and a Harvard undergraduate, adapted a Python
program for the second version of Latinometer.
Eric Johnson (University of South Dakota) made the first Latinometer for our article,
“Latinate Densities in the Speeches of Jane Austen.”
